Sustainable Development Goals and a Better Tomorrow
Department of Liberal Studies and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences, SGT University successfully hosted the National Student Research Poster Conference on โ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐโ on May 17, 2024.
Esteemed speakers Prof. Anil Kumar Haritash (Delhi Technological University) and Dr. Gunjan Sharma (Dr B R Ambedkar University, Delhi) illuminated the event with their insights on environmental challenges and global education goals, respectively.
The conference highlighted the importance of the 17 SDGs and fostered a sense of global responsibility among participants. Vibrant poster presentations from students across various institutions showcased a commitment to sustainability, while discussions emphasized the need for action in education to achieve a sustainable future.
The first, second, and third prizes for the three best research posters were awarded to Sinu Kataria from the Faculty of Commerce and Management at SGT University, Nitish Kumar Minz from the School of Management and Commerce at KR Mangalam University, and Varsha Sangwan from the Faculty of Behavioural Sciences at SGT University, respectively.
The event concluded with a collective motivation to contribute towards the SDGs, marking a significant step in the universityโs academic endeavors.
