The Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences & Liberal Arts at SGT University is a hub of interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and creative expression. It is offering B.A. (Hons./Hons. with Research) in Liberal Arts, B.A. (Hons./Hons. with Research) in English, B.A. (Hons./Hons. with Research) in Political Science, B.A. (Hons./Hons. with Research) in Economics, B.A. (Hons./Hons. with Research) in International Relations, and B.A. (Hons./Hons. with Research) in Sociology. The Faculty also offers M.A. in English, and Ph.D. in English.

The cooperation between Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University and Jammu & Kashmir Centre of Peace and Justice aims to promote academic collaboration, skill development, community outreach, and research. The partnership also includes providing students with hands-on experience through internships in areas relevant to their academic skills. This Memorandum of Understanding demonstrates shared goals of both institutions in enhancing student learning, providing valuable community engagement opportunities, and fostering collaboration in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Diplomatic Club
SGT University and The Diplomatic Club
The collaboration between Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University and The Diplomatic Club to empower students with the skills and knowledge they need to contribute meaningfully to society while enhancing educational opportunities for underrepresented communities. The highlights of this MoU entail strategic alliance for academic growth; internship opportunities for practical exposure; visiting faculty engagement and knowledge exchange; mentorship program for career and academic development; collaborative scholarly works; students’ participation in the Model United Nations (MUN); organizing workshops on developing diplomatic skills, public speaking, and conflict resolution techniques for the students of SGT University; faculty exchange programs to enhance collaborative research and innovation of teaching techniques; facilitating SGT University presence in mega diplomatic events by the Diplomatic Club, both within and outside the university; and enabling students of SGT University to participate in educational trips to various embassies and diplomatic missions.
Rajbala Foundation
SGT University and Rajbala Foundation
The partnership between Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University and Rajbala Foundation encompasses academic research; internship; hands-on professional training and development; community outreach and leadership skills; and stress management techniques collaboration thereby contributing to fostering and development of vibrant cooperative relationships between the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences & Liberal Arts and like-minded Faculty/Departments at Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, and Rajbala Foundation. The dimensions of partnership are expected to contribute to all-round development of aspirational students at SGT University in collaboration of trainers and volunteers of Rajbala Foundation. The highlights of this MoU entail working jointly on various research, development projects, seed grants and student dissertation in the areas of social sciences, psychology, behavioural traits and stress management; hands-on professional training and talent development for students of SGT University in various dimensions of design both on campus in SGT University and in design studio of Rajbala Foundation located in the city of Gurugram; facilitating participation of students of SGT University in live psychological counselling programs in Community Radio Station located in Gurugram as part of experiential learning, in collaboration with Rajbala Foundation; and propelling faculty members and students of SGT University in collaboration with trainers and volunteers of Rajbala Foundation in various community engagement programs including setting up small-size community libraries in local communities surrounding SGT University.
