The Department of Shalya Tantra, Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University, successfully organized a Special Surgical Camp (Anorectal & Other Diseases) on 20th August 2025 at SGT Ayurveda Hospital, Gurugram.

The camp offered free consultations, Ayurvedic treatment plans, laboratory facilities, and specialized para-surgical procedures, benefitting patients with conditions such as piles, fistula, fissure, hernia, abscess, and other anorectal disorders.

The program was addressed by Dr. Vidhyavati, Associate Dean, FIMS, who highlighted the importance of Ayurveda in holistic health. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Avnish Pathak, Professor & Head, Department of Shalya Tantra.

The efforts of the entire Shalya Tantra team were truly commendable, and the success of the camp reflects the dedication and commitment of the department towards “Shuddh Ayurveda, Sampoorna Swasthya.”
